Maldives - Extreme South

Heads up Topwater Junkies! Saltheads and Equator Fishing have partnered up to bring you an adrenaline pumping, rod bending, reel screaming, topwater yellow fin tuna fishing experience!

Operating out of Maamendhoo, in the Gaafu Alif Atoll, the Equator Fishing & Village Life team are the only sport fishing charter & guesthouse operators based in the extreme south of the Maldives.

With local knowledge "and" intimate understanding of their fishing grounds, the Skipper and crew are consistent in putting anglers from all over the world onto trophy sized fish.

You will be fishing onboard a 31 Foot Sportfisher with a cabin outfitted with toilet. Powered by twin Yamaha 200HP outboard engines, the boat is equipped with VHF Radio, GPS, Fish Finder, Sonar, Rod Holders, Cooler Boxes, Flares and Life Jackets.

The Sportfisher can hold a total of 6 anglers comfortably and the front deck can accommodate 3 anglers casting at the same time.

The guesthouse has 6 air-conditioned twin sharing bedrooms with attached bathrooms. Meals are freshly prepared by the chef and served in a communal dining area adjacent to the rooms. Free Wifi is available and laundry services are provided at a small fee.

There is a cafe next to the guesthouse which is also operated by the Village Life team. Kick back with your mates and watch your favourite sports on the large screen while sipping on your favourite beverages and snacking on some tasty finger food.
